Local, state, and federal funding and policy support are critical to sustain and build the capacity of Florida's arts and culture resources. Studies demonstrate these resources do contribute to Florida's economic recovery and well being. The newly established Florida Arts CCE (committee of continuous existence) serves as a leader and partner to help advance our State's arts and culture resources for both residents of and visitors to Florida.
The Florida Arts CCE
● identifies candidates who demonstrate leadership to help sustain and increase the Florida's support of its arts and culture
resources, including funding and forward-thinking policies to advance arts, arts education, and culture;
● makes campaign contributions to these candidates;
● endorses candidates and promotes these endorsements statewide, when possible;
● works in partnership with the Florida Cultural Alliance, Florida's statewide arts and culture advocacy organization, to better
coordinate educational efforts about arts, arts education, culture with policymakers.
