Suggested Message to E-mail to Florida Candidates
Running for the U.S. House of Representatives

Please copy and paste the suggested message below and e-mail it NOW to candidates who are running for the U.S. House of Representatives who represent your county (click here to review the bottom of a Web page where you can link an Excel file that lists your candidates by county -- copy and paste these candidates' e-mail addresses).  Please feel free to edit the message; however, please make sure you keep the candidates' survey link (http://029f2ae.netsolhost.com/images/2010_Congressional_Candidates_Survey.pdf) within your e-mails.

Suggested message to U.S. House Candidates:

Congratulations on your decision to run for the U.S. House.  I, too, live here and am concerned about the well being of our State.  I know you, too, care about the future of Florida and advancing the quality of life for both the citizens and tourists of our State.

Before I cast my votes in August and November, I want to know what your positions are on certain issues where federal-policy development is critical.  I know these are extremely busy and challenging times for you as you work to get elected; however, I request about three to five minutes of your time to complete a very easy and quick survey that you can access at this link:

http://029f2ae.netsolhost.com/images/2010_Congressional_Candidates_Survey.pdf

.   The survey is in a PDF format.  Once completed, please fax or e-mail it by August 25, 2010, to 202-371-0424 or jstrieter@artsusa.org.

Your participation and responses will be shared with me and others throughout our State as we all study the issues and determine who we will vote for in the 2010 primary and general elections.

If you need additional information, please visit www.artsActionFund.org/LegislativePriorities and contact Arts Action Fund Coordinator Jessica Elting at jstrieter@artsusa.org.  Thank you for your commitment to our State and for your thoughts on these important issues to me.

Sincerely,
